Product Description:

Srijan Meta Control is a premium quality biological insecticide containing high concentrations of naturally occurring Metarhizium anisopliae fungus in liquid formulation. It provides effective and eco-friendly control of soil pests, sucking pests, and other harmful insects in crops.

When applied to soil or plant surfaces, the fungal spores attach to target insects, penetrate their outer body layer, and cause infection leading to pest death. It is highly effective against termites, white grubs, root grubs, beetles, borers, hoppers, and other damaging pests.

Regular application helps reduce pest infestation, improve crop health, and protect yield without harmful chemical residue. Safe for humans, animals, beneficial organisms, and the environment, it is ideal for organic farming and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Suitable for vegetables, fruits, field crops, plantation crops, nurseries, and horticultural crops.

Method of Action

Metarhizium anisopliae works when fungal spores come in contact with the body of target insects. The spores germinate and penetrate the insect cuticle (outer body layer), then grow inside the pest and produce toxins that cause infection and death within a few days. Dead insects become covered with fungal growth, releasing fresh spores that spread in the soil or crop area and continue the natural pest control cycle.

Dosage & Application Method:

  • Domestic Use: 5 to 10 ml per litre of water.

  • Soil Application: 1 to 2 litres per acre mixed with FYM/compost or water for drenching.

  • Best Time to Apply: Morning or evening for better results.
