Srijan BT GUARD  is a premium quality biological insecticide containing beneficial Bacillus thuringiensis bacteria in liquid formulation. It is specially designed to control caterpillars, borers, loopers, and other harmful larval pests in crops.

This advanced bio larvicide works through stomach action. When larvae feed on treated plant surfaces, the active toxins disrupt their gut system, stop feeding immediately, and lead to pest death. It is highly effective against early-stage larvae that damage leaves, shoots, flowers, and fruits.

Method of Action of BT GUAR

Bacillus thuringiensis (BT) works through stomach action on target larvae. When young caterpillars or larvae feed on treated leaves or plant surfaces, they ingest the BT spores and toxins. Inside the alkaline gut of the insect, the toxins become active and damage the digestive system by disrupting gut tissues. As a result, larvae stop feeding immediately, become weak, and gradually die. It is most effective against early-stage larvae and helps protect crops naturally.
