Product Description:

Srijan NemaFree is a premium quality biological nematicide containing naturally occurring Paecilomyces lilacinus (Purpureocillium lilacinum) fungus in liquid formulation. It provides effective and eco-friendly control of harmful soil-borne nematodes that damage plant roots and reduce crop yield.

This beneficial fungus attacks nematode eggs, juveniles, and adult females in the soil, weakening and destroying them naturally. It is highly effective against root-knot nematodes, cyst nematodes, lesion nematodes, and other root-damaging nematodes.

Regular application helps protect root systems, improve nutrient uptake, and promote healthier plant growth without harmful chemical residue. Safe for crops, humans, animals, beneficial soil organisms, and the environment, it is ideal for organic farming and Integrated Pest Management (IPM). Suitable for vegetables, fruits, field crops, plantation crops, nurseries, and horticultural crops.

Method of Action of NemaFree:-

Paecilomyces lilacinus works by attacking harmful nematodes in the soil through biological parasitic action. Its spores come in contact with nematode eggs, juveniles, or adults and germinate to produce fungal threads (hyphae). These fungal threads attach firmly to the nematode surface and release natural enzymes that break down the protective outer layer.

The fungus then penetrates inside the nematode body, absorbs nutrients, and weakens or kills the pest. It also destroys nematode eggs, preventing future infestation. New spores are produced from infected nematodes, helping continue long-lasting natural control in the soil.
